Ocean Theme
This week, our theme was Ocean. Throughout the week, the children explored the underwater world through a variety of creative, sensory, and hands-on activities.
The children created colourful jellyfish art, painted ocean scenes, and made their own underwater world crafts using sea animals, seaweed, sand, and colourful pasta. We also worked together on a group art project, decorating our window with a beautiful blue ocean display.
During sensory and play-based activities, the children explored ocean animals through sensory table play, water sensory bags, blue playdough, and the sensory light panel. They enjoyed recognising different ocean animals, exploring colours and textures, and developing their observation, language, creativity, and fine motor skills.
