Last week was all about Autumn. The children learned a new song about a hedgehog and made their own hedgehog using leaves. The children did leaf printing, using a leaf at the back of paper and crayons. We had an activity using acorns and pine cones that the children tried to put in a kitchen roll using spoons. This develops their fine motor skills, concentration, sense of space and sense of curiosity. The children did play dough using the autumn treasures from parents. Thanks again for bringing them in. The children played with leaves as a sensory activity on the tray table. We also discussed the autumn colours and the children took part in all these activites alongside their friends.
